I have dined in hundreds of restaurants across the UK and abroad. Michelin stars, fast food joints, family restaurants, and anything else you can imagine. The service I had tonight from Mona was so good I had to leave a review. My food was on my table straight after finishing each previous dish, and my waitress was attentive to ask me what I thought of each dish. This is the kind of service we as customers come to restaurants for. Regardless of the food being okay — but nothing very impressive. The service alone made this a wonderful visit. Thank you Mona!

Great service from Bart - a true pro -customer service skills were second to none - would return because of him. Thanks Bart - you rescued it for Ask after some poor service we received from the lady on duty who, although not particularly busy, didn’t seem to have done the customer service course. She unceremoniously dumped two straws on our table when we asked for some to go in our cocktails and there was no interaction, even when I went to find her to ask for some straws: I felt like I was a hindrance. Visited 6pm on Saturday, 14th June. Great fondue. The rosemary and olive oil bread was dry and tasteless, but looked nice! The mains were good.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at ASK Italian, and it was all thanks to Mona! From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with such warmth and positivity—it instantly set the tone for the evening. Mona went above and beyond throughout our visit. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering fantastic recommendations that made our meal even better. Her timing was perfect—always there when we needed something, but never intrusive. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the customer experience and takes pride in her work. Mona made us feel like VIPs, and her energy, professionalism, and kindness turned a great meal into a truly memorable one. She’s a true gem and an absolute credit to the ASK Italian team. I’ll definitely be back—and hope to be served by Mona again!

Had a wonderful date night with the husband here. Quiet and nice music creates the most relaxed atmosphere and never feeling like you’re asking too much from the staff either! Bart was our server for the evening and he was incredible!! So incredibly attentive to our needs, especially as I have an allergy. He listened to my questions and gave great atmosphere. The food was cooked fresh and tasted so good! Also such quick service our food was served to us, before our drinks!!! Would recommend eating at Ask in Milton Keynes as it’s been a lovely experience and a great date night! Also Bart, you are an absolute wonderful gent and a treasure to Ask at Milton Keynes! Thank you for the wonderful evening

Visited ASK ITALIAN in Mk today. I was served by BART and everything was amazing. Got the most delicious portion of carbonara and tiramisu. Definitely will visit again!

Really nice relaxed experience! Me and my wife came for a date night and all the staff were welcoming. Bart was our server and he was absolutely fantastic with making conversation and ensuring that all of our food was hot, fresh and served to us in record time to the point the food arrived before our drinks! I can't fault the establishment and I would more than happily eat here again!

My mum and I have visited twice now and were served by Bart both times. His customer service is outstanding. I have severe allergies, and he’s always incredibly thorough—double-checking the menu to make sure everything is safe for me. The food is always fast, hot, and delicious. Highly recommend!

As a family of four, two grandchildren and two grandparents, came in right in the middle of the lunchtime rush. We were very impressed to find we were seated straight away and were not left waiting throughout the whole of the visit. The staff were incredibly hospitable and made us feel welcome while we were here. The food across the three courses was delicious, full of flavour and came out wonderfully hot. The deserts were gorgeous, and were the right mix of sweet mixed well with the coffee flavour. the only feedback I could give is to serve the donuts on top of the sundae would be better served hot. extra special thanks to Bart for the wonderful service, and making our day special.
